JUNE 13th - 15th

Dr Rüdiger Müller-Isberner retired from the IAFMHS in 2014 before presenting as keynote speaker at the 2015 IAFMHS conference in Manchester. His contributions to the IAFMHS have been very significant in supporting the Association from its inception and as an excellent role model for others, especially with respect to integrating science and practice. Therefore, the Board of Directors has agreed to offer a new annual ‘Rüdiger Müller-Isberner Award’.

This award will be presented each year at the annual conference to delegates nominated for a conference paper that clearly illustrates the link between research and its impact on practice. The recipient of the Award will be presented with $500 USD, and his or her name will be published on the IAFMHS website.

UPDATE: Due to a generous anonymous donation, this year's Award recipient will be presented with $1,000 USD, and his or her name will be published on the IAFMHS website. The Association would like to thank the donor for this generous gift.

Candidates have to submit three documents:
(1) the Abstract(s) of the conference presentation(s) that was/were accepted
(2) a professional statement by the candidate
(3) a recent CV

The Awards Committee is chaired by Prof. Stephen D. Hart, Past President of IAFMHS.

Submissions must be sent to iafmhs@sfu.ca before May 1, 2017.
