TO & FROM SPLIT AIRPORT
Split Airport (also known as Resnik Airport) is only 25 km away from the city centre, close to the Adriatic Sea. The conference venue is less than 10 kms away from the city centre.
Taxi
Taxis are available during Split Airport operating hours. A taxi will cost you from 30 EUR to/from the airport. Taxi stands in town are by the main bus station at the port, at the start of Riva (Obala Lazareta) by the entrance to the parking, at the other end of Riva by Marmontova and St. Francis Church, and by the Prima 1 shopping center near the National Theater. Shuttle Services
The Croatia Airlines shuttle service is operated by Pleso Prijevoz (www.plesoprijevoz.hr). They have several buses travelling daily to/from the airport and the Port of Split. Departures from the Port of Split are from the main bus station on platform 5. One-way tickets are charged at 30KN and return tickets on the same day costs 40KN.
Prijevoz Putnika Žele (www.split-airport.com.hr) bring passengers to/from the airport and the Port of Split from April to October. The station is located directly adjacent to the ferry terminal and next to the main bus station. Tickets costs 30KN per person.
Public Transport
You can hop on bus 37 to Trogir (departing every 20 minutes) from the local bus station on Domovinskog rata, 1km northeast of the city enter. It stops on the main road by the airport. Ticket price is 21KN per person and travel time is approximately 50 minutes.
Private Transfers
You can also arrange a private transfer to/from Split airport and any destination in Dalmatia with Connecto Taxi (www.connecto-taxi.com; +385(0)21312594) . Their fleet includes minibuses with a maximum capacity of 20 persons to standard vehicles with space for four passengers. The starting price to/from Split Airport and Split city center is approximately 300KN.
